School Board Members are advocates and champions for students and are leading the way to address childhood hunger for children across the Alabama. Ms. Kennedy\u2019s active involvement across all district schools and her unwavering advocacy for students demonstrate her dedication to educational excellence and community engagement.&#8221;<\/p><p>Jean Kennedy demonstrates a steadfast commitment to student nutrition and staff recognition. Collaborating closely with the superintendent, she actively encourages bus drivers, cafeteria staff, and administrators to ensure that every child receives healthy meals daily. Ms. Kennedy also motivates principals to nominate deserving support staff as Employees of the Month for their respective schools, celebrating their contributions during monthly meetings. Marie Manning celebrated National School Lunch Week by visiting cafeterias in her area and eating with children.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We appreciate Mrs. Manning visiting our system.
