Alabama\u2019s decision to operate the SUN Bucks summer program will provide access to proper nutrition the whole year through for over half a million young Alabamians. Here\u2019s a statement from Kate Goodin with No Kid Hungry Alabama:<\/p><p>\u201cAlabama students are making gains in the classroom, but summer hunger remains a persistent problem for many kids across the state that rely on school meals. But Alabama&#8217;s decision to implement the SUN Bucks program this summer will be a gamechanger.
