Because of them, thousands of kids throughout Indiana have remained nourished during the crisis.<\/span><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11548 size-medium alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/state.nokidhungry.org\/arizona\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2021\/02\/AZ-Granting-by-Counties-264x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"264\" height=\"300\" \/>\n\n<p>The pandemic has upended school meal programs as we know them. As schools have adjusted to remote learning, hybrid models, and or changes within the building to keep students and staff safe, school nutrition departments have had to w<\/span>ork quickly to make sure meals are also adapting to these changes and available for every student.\n\n<p>These frontline hunger heroes \u2013 school nutrition and transportation professionals, community leaders, administrators, teachers, and volunteers \u2013 have done everything they can to ensure that kids continue to have access to meals. They\u2019ve worked tirelessly, often for longer shifts and without days off. They\u2019ve also found creative ways to get meals to kids, distributing weekly bags of fresh produce, providing curb-side meal pick-up, and even hopping on school buses to deliver meals directly to kids\u2019 homes. These hunger heroes have shown tremendous dedication\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to the kids they serve<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, all while juggling mounting stress and uncertainty<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0in their own lives.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\nNo Kid Hungry Arizona is proud to have supported the following school districts across the commonwealth to
