Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Columbia Elementary School District (Redding)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Del Norte County Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Twin Rivers Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Alvord Unified School District (Corona)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Catholic Charities San Bernardino &amp; Riverside Counties<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Centralia Elementary School District (Buena Park)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Fallbrook Union Elementary District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Palo Verde Unified School District (Blythe)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">San Marcos Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Temecula Valley Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">YMCA of Greater Long Beach<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Paramount Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">South Whittier School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">San Bernardino City Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Santa Barbara Summer Meals Collaborative<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Community Alliance with Family Farmers (Davis)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Marysville Joint Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Morongo Unified School District<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #625c58\">For additional details about what grant funds will be used for, as well as a full list of grants made in California, please click <span style=\"color: #f26722\"><a style=\"color: #f26722\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nokidhungry.org\/blog\/heres-how-youre-supporting-hungry-kids-affected-coronavirus-state?platform=hootsuite\">here<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #625c58\">A new report from Feeding America projects <span style=\"color: #f26722\"><a style=\"color: #f26722\" href=\"https:\/\/www.feedingamericaaction.org\/data-visualization-snap-and-covid-19\/\">California will see a bigger increase in child food insecurity resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic than any other state in the nation<\/a><\/span>, estimating that a total of 2.2 million kids in our state could face hunger this year. To support these children and their families, No Kid Hungry has launched a texting hotline to let parents know about emergency and summer meal distribution sites in their neighborhoods. Parents and caregivers can text the word \u201cFOOD\u201d (or \u201cCOMIDA\u201d) to 877-877 to find the nearest sites. The campaign also advocated in support of <span style=\"color: #f26722\"><a style=\"color: #f26722\" href=\"https:\/\/state.nokidhungry.org\/california\/2020\/06\/29\/statement-no-kid-hungry-california-applauds-legislature-governor-for-providing-112-million-for-emergency-school-meals\/\">the $112.2 million in funding for emergency school meals<\/a><\/span> recently allocated by the California State Legislature and Governor Gavin Newsom through the state budget process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #625c58\">Nationally, No Kid Hungry has worked with more than 1,000 partner organizations, providing upwards of $23 million dollars. Together, our partners are serving more than 15 million meals daily.
