What does that mean for you, the leaders of school nutrition in your district? For universal meals to be financially possible in California, federal provisions like the Community Eligibility Provision are key! In fact, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ca.gov\/ls\/nu\/ab130universalmeals.asp\">California Department of Education<\/a> has announced that<\/span><b> all schools and\/or districts that have a minimum ISP of 40% or more must apply for a federal provision by June 30, 2022.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We proudly presents the <strong>CEP Workgroup 2.0,<\/strong> a series of workshops for nutrition directors beginning in January 2022, which will help you prepare for the transition to CEP, districtwide or for individual schools.
