Del Norte Unified School District Kicks off Summer Meals Program at Beachfront Park<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

During the Summer, Kids 0-18 Years Old Can Get Summer Meals At No Cost!<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

Crescent City, CA<\/b>: The Del Norte Unified School District\u2019s Nutrition Services and No Kid Hungry are kicking off the Summer Food Program for children and teens at Beachfront Park on Monday, June 16. The kick-off event will feature an afternoon of fun activities, games, giveaways, and food.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to see how many more kids we will be able to reach this summer with some of the innovative changes we are making. We are fortunate to be able to continue to grow this Summer Food program as it is crucial to many children in our county and community. We are looking forward to a fun-tastic bubble filled kick off party!\u201d said Julie Bjorkstrand, nutrition services director for Del Norte Unified School District.<\/span><\/p>\n
