The deadline for Louisiana families to apply for the P-EBT Program has been extended one week from June 8<sup>th<\/sup> to <strong>4:30 pm on June 15<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. We need your help! Take action now to ensure that Louisiana families are able to access these critical benefits to help feed kids.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take Action By Sharing NEW P-EBT Deadline Extension and FAQ Flyers: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spread the word about the P-EBT deadline extension with your networks using two P-EBT flyers newly created by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labudget.org\/\">Louisiana Budget Project<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.louisianapartnership.org\/\">Louisiana Partnership for Children and\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.louisianapartnership.org\/\">Families<\/a> and No Kid Hungry Louisiana.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post these graphics to your social media accounts, include them in emails, and also print and post them in community locations where families may already be picking up meals or accessing other services.<\/li>\n<li>Print and include these flyers in kids\u2019 grab and go meals this week and next week to make sure families receive this information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click these links to download the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/283504c3b3add96827a4ae4b9\/images\/d62fa248-2df0-40a4-b8ff-ec78182f6223.png\">P-EBT Extension Flyer<\/a> <\/strong>and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/283504c3b3add96827a4ae4b9\/images\/d05a3d8d-defa-42de-be37-331d052d2204.png\">FAQ Flyer<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/283504c3b3add96827a4ae4b9\/images\/d62fa248-2df0-40a4-b8ff-ec78182f6223.png\" width=\"308\" height=\"476\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/283504c3b3add96827a4ae4b9\/images\/d05a3d8d-defa-42de-be37-331d052d2204.png\" width=\"308\" height=\"476\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Pandemic-EBT Benefits: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The P-EBT Program is a crisis response nutrition program that has been activated as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/li>\n<li>Through P-EBT, eligible families in Louisiana will receive $285 per child to buy food.<\/li>\n<li>Using P-EBT does NOT impact your or your child\u2019s immigration status. The \u201cpublic charge\u201d rule does NOT apply to P-EBT benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Families can receive P-EBT benefits even if they receive Emergency Meals to You boxes or continue to pick up meals from their child\u2019s school or another community site.<\/li>\n<li>P-EBT is NOT SNAP. If you are receiving SNAP benefits, you can also use P-EBT.<\/li>\n<li>Eligible families MUST complete the online P-EBT application by the new June 15<sup>th<\/sup> deadline in order to ultimately receive P-EBT benefits. Without the requested information, Louisiana DCFS cannot provide these P-EBT benefits.
