Thanks for participating in our Summer EBT awareness campaign! In this Outreach Guide, we\u2019ll review how the program will work in Kentucky this summer, share ready-to-use communication materials, and equip you with knowledge about the program to support families in your community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the guide, you’ll see materials with clear messaging to help ensure families in your school community can access this important food assistance during the summer months. For schools, we\u2019ve provided messaging options for social media and school emails, text and newsletters, so that you can easily plug messages into the platforms used at your school. For other community partners and elected officials, we’ve provided materials directly for families that you can distribute as well as sample social media posts for you to add your logo too. For families, you’ll find a one-pager about the program as well as information on how to check your eligibility and apply. <\/span><\/p>\n

The objective of our Summer EBT communications campaign is to spread awareness and drive action.<\/p>\n

Our key messages are simple:<\/p>\n

  • Summer EBT is here to help feed your kids when school\u2019s out!<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Some children will be automatically enrolled, while others need to apply.<\/em><\/li>\n
  • We encourage you to check to see if you\u2019re eligible, and sign up if needed.<\/em><\/li>\n
