In this latest round of granting, 12 schools and school districts will receive funds that directly support their daily programming, staffing and the purchasing of kitchen equipment and meal supplies so they can connect more kids with nutritious food throughout the year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSchool meals are a source of consistent, essential nutrition for the 1 in 7 kids facing hunger here in Michigan,\u201d said Mindy Grant, Senior Program Manager for No Kid Hungry Michigan. \u201cWe applaud these grantees for their tireless efforts to support their communities and ensure kids have access to the healthy meals they need to grow, learn and thrive.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The latest round of No Kid Hungry grants will support the following schools across the state of Michigan:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keweenaw Bay Indian Community\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Center Line Public Schools\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Southfield Public Schools\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ferndale Public Schools<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Detroit Public Schools Community District\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">School District of the City of Pontiac<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eau Claire Public Schools<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eastpointe Community Schools<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Westwood Heights School District<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Clintondale High School<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Flint Community School District<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Westwood Community Schools<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">###<\/span><\/p><p><b>About No Kid Hungry<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No Child should go hungry in America.
