SNAP Outreach Toolkit
As families and individuals across New York feel the economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, many will be newly eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP. SNAP provides food assistance via an EBT card, which operates similar to a debit card to purchase food in grocery stores and other food retailers.
