“Hunger is an issue often hiding in plain sight”
On June 11, New York television station PIX11 held a “Day of Action” to support No Kid Hungry and raise awareness of the issue of childhood hunger in New York. The station profiled No Kid Hungry New York and our partner Island Harvest to show the food relief efforts that schools and nonprofits are doing to keep kids healthy and fed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
