We\u2019re proud to partner with Dallas Independent School District to ensure students affected by the storm have the food they need to learn and thrive,\u201d said No Kid Hungry Texas Director Kathy Green.<\/p><p>More than 1 in 4 kids in Texas live in families that struggle with hunger. Research shows that hunger has long-term ramifications on children, including lower test scores, weaker attendance rates, and a higher risk of hospitalizations and chronic diseases.
