WASHINGTON, DC<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Share Our Strength is excited to welcome Stacie Sanchez Hare as its new No Kid Hungry Texas Director.<\/span><\/strong> Sanchez Hare will lead the No Kid Hungry campaign at the state and local level in Texas, which is focused on ending childhood hunger in the state through increased access to the federal nutrition programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cStacie brings with her extensive experience building strong partnerships with schools and community organizations, as well as working with state and local government on behalf of kids,\u201d says No Kid Hungry Director Lucy Coady. \u201cIn this time of unprecedented economic hardship and uncertainty for many Texas families, we are thrilled to have her on board to lead this important work.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to joining Share Our Strength, Sanchez Hare served as the Managing Director of Impact for City Year San Antonio. Before that, she spent several years in New York City, where she launched the YouthPathways program at the NYC Human Resources Administration. Sanchez Hare holds a MS in Social Work from Columbia University with a focus on social policy and research and a BA in Social Work for St. Edwards University.
