During the school year, meals are available to kids through school breakfast and lunch. But kids lose critical access to meals during the summer when schools are out. Schools are important communities where families can learn more about Summer EBT and ensure that they have nutritious meals all summer long!
On this page, we have compiled resources designed to equip school staff members with knowledge of Summer EBT. Below you will see a recorded session on how to use the Summer EBT resources we have put together, as well as communications outreach materials, flyers, and translated content and the best times to share out these materials.
We encourage you to download and share these resources across your schools!
Consider sharing resources with the following roles in your community:
- Parent Resource Center staff
- Parent Coordinators
- Family Resource Officers
- Guidance counselors
- Community School Coordinators and Directors
- ESL staff
- McKinney-Vento Liaisons

- Staff involved in the Summer Meal programs
