This toolkit was created to help you get the word out to students and families about school meals and includes both ready to use and customizable assets to help you quickly and easily communicate with students and families through social media, newsletters, flyers and more.
  • 2023 Michigan Summer Meals Outreach Toolkit
    This toolkit was created to help you get the word out to families about Meet Up and Eat Up meals available for kids this summer. You will find a variety of ready to use and customizable materials—in both English and Spanish—to help you quickly and easily communicate with families, including social media images, sample social media posts, postcards and more.

    This map can show you whether your summer meal site or day care home is in an area eligible location based on the USDA Food and Nutrition Service’s averaging policy.

  • SNAP Outreach Toolkit for Schools

    The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits qualifying households to purchase nutritious food using an electronic card that functions like an ATM card accepted at most grocery stores and farmers’ markets. SNAP can help families weather financial hardship and ensure access to healthy food.
