Alert: Government Shutdown

Congress failed to reach a funding agreement at the start of the new fiscal year, triggering a government shutdown. This shutdown, together with new changes from H.R. 1, puts added pressure on states and leaves families caught in the middle with less support when they need it most. 

We’re urging Congress to act quickly to end this federal government shutdown by passing a bipartisan bill that fully funds WIC and protects all nutrition programs. Here’s our official statement.
