No Kid Hungry Nebraska is a coalition working so no kid in Nebraska goes hungry. By working with partners across the state, we are dedicated to ensuring every Nebraska student has access to healthy meals. In Nebraska, we achieve this mission by working with Nebraska Appleseed and supporting the Student Nutrition Action Committee.
Nebraska Appleseed
Nebraska Appleseed is a nonprofit organization that fights for justice and opportunity for all Nebraskans. Nebraska Appleseed takes a systemic approach to complex issues – such as child welfare, immigration policy, affordable health care, and poverty – and takes their work wherever they believe they can do the most good, whether that’s in the courthouse, at the Capitol, or in the community.
Student Nutrition Action Committee (SNAC)
In Nebraska, No Kid Hungry is a member of the steering committee for the Student Nutrition Action Committee (SNAC).
