March is one of our favorite months: it gives us both National Nutrition Month AND National School Breakfast Week (March 4-8, 2024). Both are excellent opportunities to celebrate the physical and mental benefits of school meals, as well as the hard-working professionals who prepare the meals with love and care.

Check out the links below to read letters-to-the-editor about school breakfast, which ran in newspapers across Virginia in March:

About No Kid Hungry
No child should go hungry in America. But millions of kids in the United States live with hunger. No Kid Hungry is working to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization committed to ending hunger and poverty.
