In the wake of the coronavirus, millions of children in the United States are facing poverty and hunger. Traditionally, many kids have relied on the meals they get at school each day. If it weren’t for the free meals being offered by schools and community organizations, that number would be much higher.
No Kid Hungry has a plan to make sure those children are fed, both during this crisis and in the recovery to follow. Through a combination of emergency grants, strategic assistance, advocacy and awareness, No Kid Hungry is helping kids, families and communities get the resources they need. Learn more about our response to the coronavirus.
No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization working to end hunger and poverty. Most people are familiar with the name “No Kid Hungry”, which is how the campaign appears online and in consumer publications.
