Building Forward for Better Service: Lessons Learned for Back to School

After over a year of pandemic life, we have seen districts go from emergency to hybrid to on-campus meal service and everything in between! USDA waivers have provided a path for creativity and innovation when it comes to feeding our children.  As we look to the future, many districts are preparing to step out of pandemic service and into a more exciting meal model based on lessons learned.

In this webinar, No Kid Hungry California, in partnership with four Southern California County Public Health Collaboratives and school nutrition directors, will present new updates in the world of school nutrition on how to build forward for the 2021-2022 school year. You will hear from Nutrition Directors and leaders from Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Community partners and child nutrition providers will learn about back to school serving models, policy updates, how to work with unions, alternative income forms and more!
