School is back in session but it is far from “business as usual”. Unprecedented supply chain issues and staffing shortages have left child nutrition providers nationwide wondering if they will get food on the table, or if they will have anyone to serve it.
In this webinar, No Kid Hungry California, in partnership with four Southern California County Public Health Collaboratives, will present new updates in school nutrition and methods districts are using to get meals out. You will hear from Southern California nutrition directors, charter school leaders and local distributors who are working to rise to these resource challenges. Community partners and child nutrition providers will learn about menu optimization, implementing school food pantries, distributor updates, staff wellness and more.
