The U.S. House of Representatives released its proposed Farm Bill, the legislation that governs an array of agriculture and food programs, including SNAP. This bill would be detrimental to kids nationwide by making changes to the Thrifty Food Plan that would ultimately cut up to $30 billion in SNAP benefits over the next decade and threaten to cut $500 million in grocery benefits through the Summer EBT program.
