“No Kid Hungry congratulates Assemblymember Robert Rivas on his election as the next Speaker of the State Assembly. His life story – from farmworker housing to the Speaker’s office – is a powerful example for the next generation and we look forward to working together to ensure that every kid in our state has the resources they need to thrive.
We also thank Speaker Rendon for his years of commitment to California kids and leading efforts to help ensure students have the nutrition necessary to grow and learn.”
